On Nov 6-8, I had the wonderful pleasure of leading a women's retreat for Grace Presbyterian Church of Waxhaw, NC in the lovely PCA Camp and Conference Center Ridge Haven, in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Our topic was "What do I do now? Redemptive ways to interact with God, yourself and others when life is hard."
We pressed into biblical principles and small practices that can help orient us in times of suffering. We all have a battle in dealing with ourselves and other people and in turning to God. We looked at simple street-level practices that can anchor us in hard times.
